DIO Interior Laboratory — Interior design studio in Bucharest

DIO Interior Laboratory designs refined spaces with soul — apartments and houses, and the cafés, guesthouses and small hotels people remember staying in. Timeless interiors, thoughtful details, designed beyond trends.

The studio’s work is hospitality inspired: the warmth of a good hotel room, brought home. Terracotta ceilings and sand-coloured plaster, curved oak, herringbone floors, and lighting planned as carefully as the furniture — so a room feels effortless, and intentional.

    DIO Approach

Refined spaces with soul, designed beyond trends.

Every room is built in 3D before it is built in brick — walked through in daylight and at night, until the light, the storage and the silence are right.

      DIO Studio

Complexity meets simplicity. A refined blend of styles, textures and forms — so a space feels both effortless and intentional.

DIO started as a laboratory: a place to test how far a room can be reduced before it loses its warmth. Every project begins with a full 3D model, so clients walk through the space, in daylight and at night, before anything is ordered or built.

The studio works from Bucharest on apartments, houses and small hospitality projects across Romania, and remotely on visualisation for architects and developers abroad.
