Batistei Olive

Two bedrooms and a long terrace held together by olive green: painted walls, green zellige and an abstract mural in soft mauves.

The mural runs behind the main bed and returns as the kitchen splashback, where an oak arch frames the sink between oak cabinets and black glass-fronted shelves. Elsewhere the walls are painted deep olive — the hall, the second bedroom, the niche that holds the sofa — and the television sits in a curved plaster arch above the round oak dining table.

The bathroom is the loudest room: green zellige tile, a black and white marble checkerboard floor, a fluted black bath and a matching basin. The bedrooms are quieter — a scalloped headboard, bouclé armchairs, sheer and taupe curtains — and the terrace runs the length of the flat with bamboo, a parasol and the city below.
