Zalomit Studio 81

A compact studio behind a coral-red door: one room for sleeping, cooking and eating, a sage kitchenette in an arch, and a balcony over the rooftops.

Everything is arranged around one move. The kitchenette sits in an arched niche, with fluted sage cabinets and a speckled stone counter that turns into a tiled breakfast bar, which leaves the rest of the room to the bed. A fluted glass screen keeps the front door out of sight.

Blush walls and dusty pink curtains soften the room; a green bench at the foot of the bed and an animal-print throw on the armchair give it character. The bathroom is painted a strong moss green, with white marble in the shower and a white column basin. The best seat is on the balcony: a small round table, two stools and the old roofs of the city.
